Pipe fabrication is DMI’s only business.  We are a family business, founded in 1963 specifically to fabricate pipe for the power, petrochemical, refinery and paper industries.

We begin the pipe fabrication process with detailed drawings, including bills of material and QA/QC as required by our clients. We use both orthographic and isometric drawings.

From those drawings our skilled and talented pipe fabricators cut, fit, and weld using the best of modern processing equipment and the newest technology. The required NDE (Non Destructive Examination) is performed and each spool of pipe is subjected to dimensional, it, and post-weld square-up checks, making sure the fabricated pipe is exactly as it should be.

Our pipe is fabricated in our 25,000 sq. ft. shop which allows complete spooling,  complete roll-out, and has separate carbon and alloy bays. It’s equipped with overhead cranes.
We offer carbon, chrome, stainless, zirconium, titanium, hastalloy and aluminum procedures in our pipe fabrication. Our welders are certified SMAW, GMAW and GTAW.

DMI has fabricated pipe for Mechanical and Civil engineering projects, equipment setting, structural steel erection and replacement, conveyors, turnarounds and more. We also offer maintenance. We can offer you prioritized delivery.
